TÄFF - a new opportunity to improve myself and study something new
I have tried to find some photography hobby group. Finally I found what I was looking for: TÄFF - Tähe photo and film hobby group. It is hobby group which take place on Tuesda evening and where is 6-7 members every week. There is more members but mostly 6-7 is there every week. All the members seems to pe people who study it not for business purpose but they are just intrested in about it. People learn to use new programs and applications. There's plenty of discussions where people talk about their experiences. Quite often we have to do some hometasks, which forces to leave more time for photography. My first homework was make one animation and one timelapse. I chose the cake's decorating as a theme for animation, because at the same time was father's day and I made a cake to honour my father. Timelapse theme came me unexpectedly. When I walked home, a girl came and gave me a rose ja asked me to donate some mony for chidren. I have no idea did th children get this money or not but i thought if she needed that money so much then let it be so. For drying the rose I needed shower room and floor heating. I was happy with the result, because it was my first time to do something like this and I had no idea how to do it. Now I know how to make it better. For example the color temperature should be set manually and light should be more homogeneous.

Bicycle tour in Åland
1. day
Wake up call at 11 am, having this great excitment. Had to met Raini and Helen at 3.30 pm in front of Norde Centrum, but already saw them near the Linnahall. Arriving to the port I saw Hiiumaa hiking club MUKU members who already wanted to go to Åland by bicycle.

2.day ~40 km
Woke up at 4 am, to pack last thing and get ready to step off to Mariehamn. A little we just spent some time to drive aroun. I found my first wild strawberries this year. First stop was Lilla Holmen beach, where was really warm in sunny day. A lot of people came to talk, but every time they started to speak in Swedish and we just didn't understand anything. For next we acquaintedwith city center and visited tourist information center. Raini wished to see old wooden ship Pommern. We didn't went on board but amiring it outside. Again we had a little rest. We chose to camp for the night place called Möckelö which was near to Mariehamn. Sitting on the stones near the seashore and watching in the water, I saw many fishes about 40 cm long but it was really difficult to catch them because the seamud. In the evening I decided to cycle a little more to see surrounding and accidentaly I drove over smooth snake. Couple of meters forward I stopped and took my camera and tripod. To my surprise snake even didn't try to move away. Taking pictures and moving closer and closer until there was only about 30 cm between snake and lens, it still stayed calm, like posing for me. After I had arrived again to camping place I saw first tick on me this year.

3.day ~80 km
We started to drive between 1-2 pm to Eckerö. Sitting on the seashore I found up to 14 ticks on me. Raini and Helen looked at me like I some kind of weirdo and started to search thei bodies. We finally visited or first museum. Shell petrol station sign was old rusty motorbike, and it just fitted so well. On the station and nearby were many old cars. Next stop was Kungsö beach where we tried to decide, are we go swimming or not, but we didn't. Water was actually really warm. Continued our drive to Eckerö. At one moment I noticed that others had stopped and distance was pretty long. This gave me a chance to eat some wild strawberries, which were huge and red. Arriving in the front of Frebbenby shop I noticed that others have started to get tired. Watching the map Eckerö seemed really large place to Ålandbut when we arrived there was only camping places. Raini and Helen went swimming, but I didn't because water was freezingly cold. like last night we chose to camp near the seashore which placed 8 km from The port near Espholm. Ciclying was still relaxing for me but Helen was really tired and wish to arrive was huge. Finding the right camping place took over an hour. Seabed was sandy and flat. Water was over 20 degrees

4. day ~50 km
Morning started with 8 km ride and continued with a half an hour ferry drive near Finnö. The goal of the day was to arrive to Godby. Journey was about 40 km. Weren't any sightseeings during the journey. In Godby we visited lookout tower ja tasted local trout. Panorama from the tower was good and intresting to see where we drove and where we go. Travel company was quite tired and they took raisings pushing the bike. Others decided not to come to Vårdö but I still would liked to go.

6. day ~40 km
Woking up in the morning my legs were bit sore. I went in Mariehamn to bu some souvenirs, because I wasn't sure is the tourist information center opened next day. Back to the camping place I fished a little and then it was time to move on. I felt that others had driven much less than I am, because they had much more power than a couple of days ago. In Söderby's local shop I bought a 1,5 liter water which costed over 4 euros. I felt the taste of the money when I drank this water. Moving to Lumparland there were many good camping places where to spend the night. During the day we visited local port where was a change to go to dreamed Kökar, but this time we didn't. In lumparland we went in a cafe where we rest a little and started to look good camping place. We found a camping place in Klementsby. We spend a night in a local boat harbour where was a barbeque oven and firewood what local people allowed us to use. We caught a fish and cooked yesterday's fishes and sausages.

5. day ~100 km
I woke up around 8 am to start to move and arrive to next camping place at normal time. In front of the waiting was long waited Vårdö. This place was important to me because many years ago between Hiiumaa and Saaremaa sail a ferry named Vårdö. I had any idea what's waiting ahead, I hadn't even read about it. I only knew that between main island and Vardö was some kind of cable system which is the way to get from one island to another. Durning the cycling in the morning I saw two deers, but i didn't get any pictures they ran away so fast. Firs longer stops I did near Bomarsund where was old fortress, built by Russian tsar, ruins. Different defense towers and fortress ruins were many places. I had it important to got familiar with local history. Near many towers there were great panorama view on the sea and on the little surrounding islands. Before arriving to main fortress I visited history museum that was interesting and housewife was vey kind and helpfull to talk about everything and show everything. When I entered, she asked me to sit and watch short film about Bomarsund fortress. There were many models about how fortress had to look if tsar had a change to make all his dreams true. So I moved on to look the main fortress where was only some ruins. To get any idea about how big was it before, I decided to wride a little introducion. Main fortress was 290 meters long oval building, ehich was able to accommodate 2500 people. Fortress had 12 towers. Building started year 1832. Total number of rooms was 162 where was able to integrate cannons. Room windows were made to integrate cannons. Near the fortress ruins was Bomarsund museum where was exhibiton about the items which were found nearby. I little drove around in Prästo and read information signs about history. So I moved on to Vårdö where I had to use cable ferry to get on the island. Ferry was free to use. First stop on Vårdö was eating stop. It was the time to rest. Firstly I moved to north to see local lifestyle and surrounding. First sightseeing was school museum. Museum was old school house which was built by Viktor Jansson in 1887. School was opened to boys and girls. Only children from rich families because students had to pay fot the books. Children had to read when they wanted to attend to school. Children studied Swedish, math, different sciences, geography, history and religion. Students had to taken care of the school, like carry fire wood and make fire in the stove. Students hade to make food by them selves. Main breakfast was milk and sandwich. Museum was a school until 1991. Next I moved on to Sandö where was a cafe. It was a housecafe where owners lived in. Garden was really colourful and full of flowers and other plants. Unfortunately tourism season haven't started et and so the cafe was closed. It was time to move to south where I enjoyed intresting roads and views. I really liked a cafe in Grundsund where owner offered me pancakesand coffee. During the conversation with owner I got know that he was old seaman who spoke many different languages. He was already really good carpenter. There was different things for sale made of wood. I stayed there more than half an hour speaking, eating pancakes and drinking coffee. It was time to move back. I had any idea what time the ferrys go and I just decided to go to the port and check the timetable. Luckily ferry moved even when it wasn't in the timetable, otherwise I had to wait around two hours. Unfortunately fotographic museum was closed and I moved straight to Kastelholm, where was Kastelholm's castle and openair museum. Castle and museum were both interesting and so I stayed there plenty of time. Finally I felt little tired, because the weather was windy and many kilometers were collected during the day. Kastelholm castle is the only castle in Åland that was built in medieval time. The castle was buit in 1380. by the king of the Sweden. The castle has been restored many times. Open air museum was built in 1920. For the museum different farm houses were collected all over the Åland. Not for a long and I was back in Godby. I made a litle rest and visited the shop and then I started to move to Mariehamn, because Raini and Helen were already there to find good camping place. Arrived to Mariehamn I got know that others had moved little on. I took my sight to Lemland to catch others. Final cmping place were near the Önningeby close to the channel. When I arrived it was so good to see others. Probably because I saw the places that others didn't (I am a real poseur in my mind). In the evening we caught some fish, mostly perches, roaches and sprats. Really successful day.

7. day ~30 km
Little fishing in the morning and the last day was started. It was time to move back to Mariehamn. We chose the the stops where we had a change to fish or visit a shop. Plenty of cycling without any sightseeings, becaus we had seen everything last day. We arrived to Mariehamn quite early. Again we stopped on the beach where we were in the first day. I had a certain plan to to buy a pavk og Taffel chips from the shop. After long break we moved near the Pommern and ate there and spend some time. It was sad to leave but every journey ends one day. We threw the lure on the ports pier and just watched how our ship arrives. It was time to face the truth and step on the ship where we started to sail back to Estonia.
