Green bycicle tour "How do you live, Pandivere"

Many years I have wished totake part in Green bycicle tour, but before I didn't have enough money, time, transportation and more excuses which was caused by laziness. This year's spring I finally decided to take part of it. At the end I had a great feeling, something got done again and I really liked it. The total distance with three days was around 180 km.
1. day Tamsalu - Emumägi ~60 km.
The final stuff and bycicle check in the morning. Everything have to packed and working order. It was time to move to the railstation. On the train I tried to sleep the last moments and soon train arrived to Tamsalu. Getting the information about tour I had my first problem. In registration the didn't find my registration transfer info. I got the good anxiety feeling because I was quite sure I transfered the right sum. After five minutes they found the right information and everything was fine. The last preparations and hours to wait, it was time to sit on a saddle. During the cycling to the first stop I thought that I cycle next to two people and they started to yell at me. They said that it is not polite to cycle next to old people. I had some thoughts that the tour haven't begun very well. Luckily that kind of thoughts went away fast. The first stop was some kind of museum which name I don't remember.  Museum workers made some cookies and black bread which I tried and bought some on the road. first efforts and relaxing moments done, it was time to move on. Leg muscles were quite warm already and feeling got better and better. Soon I made to Ebavere sacred hill, where was many old skis placed side of the fence. Looking some skis I saw many familiar ones, I have some of them in my country home. Walking on a sacred hill walking track and stretching legs  I saw the first viper this year, but it just escaped and got no pictures. It was the first viper for Piia in her life. Vao tower fortress was a sort of place. There was narrow passages, and many different rooms. It made a feeling like the tower is larger inside than outside. It didn't take much time to arrive to Kiltsi manor, which was the lunch breake place. Food was too expensive and I decided to enjoy beautiful and interesting manor and the surrounding park. Next places were the most memorable during the day: fish farming and Äntu lakes. In a fish farm in addition to fishes there was a seal who was really curious about people and enjoy the audience. Road to Äntu's lakes was narrow forest track full of naturaly beautiful views. I have always enjoyed forest tracks when walking or cycling. The track was absolutely for my taste. Bolder people went swimming in a lake. Me, as the cold water-shy miss it. Äntu lakes were on the half way to Emumägi.The second part of the day lacked of a sightseeings. For a moment I stopped in a local shop and near the Rakke's lime plant. Cycling on a top of the Emumägi was a good climbing, and I felt that it's going to be terrible but still made it. On the Emumägi we put up the tent, ate and discovered surrounding. On a top of the Emumägi near the track was erected several statues. Track moved to Emumägi's tower with beautiful panoramic view to Estonian nature. Later just walking around, decided with Piia to check out the tepee near the camp. There were stove and sleeping decks.  Seen that it was definite that we stay there, because stove gave heat and the atmosphere was great.

2. day Emumägi - Pariisi ~80 km
Longest day waited ahead. Most of the time just had to cycle because lack of sightseeings. Just for a minute I stopped to see local carpenter's garden where was different and funny statues for everyone's fantasy made of wood. First longer stop I made near the Simuna, where was little meteora crater. Near the Simuna I made a little walk along the Pedja river shore started from spring. After little walk I noticed that I can't go any further with dry feet, so decided to go through the river. Luckily water level was low, up to knee, but extremely cold. Moved out of the village of Simuna was the famous Struve's arc extremity which was important sightseeing for me as the geodesy student. Again 15 km cycling waited ahead. Asphalt road changed to muddy, straight cravel road full of holes. Cycling was frustrating and tiring. Arrived to Rohu's missile base I saw that Piia is tired and we didn't stopped there for a long. Actually there wasn't much to see, only old empty hangars. From missile base to lunch place was 6 km. Lunch place situated in Eipri, where was talked about phosphorite war. I sunbathe and made a little snap in Eipri to avoid frustration. Cycling to Lasila's manor I got a rain shower  and felt how my butt got stiff and got tired little by little. Resting, drying clothes and motivate myself I started to feel better and got some enthusiasm. Even Piia started to recover and changed happier. Soon I arrived to camp, where enjoyed Kukerpillid's concert, nice feeling and how tiredness made muscles whirr.

3. day Pariisi - Tamsalu ~40 km
And it already last day. Day with the best beginning, way moved along the hill's top on a narrow forest track. Cycled some kilometers and it was time to rest and enjoy Jaan Tätte's concert. Tätte was great as always. The third day was cycle and enjoy day for me. I don't know why but I enjoyed surrounding landscape and lakes  until the end of the day. Not many stops again. I visited two manors, I don't remember the name of the first manor but the second manor was Parkuni manor. The whole Porkun's manor complex was intresting, specialy the tower, where was possible to go to the top using wider stairs or narrow set in stone stairs. On the very top of the tower opend nice panorama view. Just a little more kilometers and the tour was over. In finish I visited local fair and bought cotton candy, I didn't even remember when I last ate it. It was time to move on a train. A few hundred meters before railway station my backpack's zipper broke and my camera with Sigma 18-250 mm lens fell on the asphalt road. Luckily nothing happened with my camera but lens found the bad ending.
